Everyday, it seems, another app comes from somewhere allowing you to update your social networks from a single location. TubeMogul recently made such an announcement, and there are countless plugins for WordPress that do the same, as well as plugins for browsers, such as Minggl for Firefox.
Well, here is one for Facebook, called SocialToo.
This app helps to update your other Facebook pages (fan pages, etc) and also updates your Twitter account.
A cool feature of this particular app is that when it publishes the life stream on your Facebook, it includes links to your other Facebook fan pages, and your Twitter account. So it shows everyone who you are talking to, and therefore promotes your other pages.
This is a great resource for everyone with additional company or fan pages on Facebook. However, you may want to check out a few other social apps, if you have more than just a Facebook and Twitter account. For instance, Minggl, the Firefox plugin I mentioned earlier, can update MySpace, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Digg all at the same time. But, it doesn’t cross promote your other social networks and fan pages by showing links in your life stream – SocialToo’s Facebook plugin does. It’s a trade off!
