Twitter announced a new feature, currently in beta, that businesses can leverage on Twitter to help make their business to consumer tweets more personal. The feature is called ‘Contributors’ and appends the contributor’s username to the byline.

It will be interesting to see how applicable this function is, as Twitter is a ‘hyper-short’ communication system keeping things to a top-line, concise 140 characters. Video exchange can be time-consuming and is much more involved but could somehow evolve into another quick-format communication.
